Community Engagement

“Community above self” is what my parents taught me and what I embrace every day. I believe that we need to work collaboratively and participate with groups that seek to find creative solutions to build a healthy community. Equally important is the need to seek community input, especially from those who may be underrepresented in our programs and activities in order to advocate for them when decisions need to be made.
